Bus line 17/  runs between the train station and the University.

By bus

There are national and international bus connections to Trieste. There are travel timetables for journeys to Trieste available in the web site of Autostazione di Trieste. This station is close to the central railway station.

By car

There are highways that allow you to reach Trieste both from the rest of Italy (from North-West) and from Slovenia (from East and South-East).

Arriving from Italy (A4 highway), we suggest to exit at Sistiana (about 7 km after the toll booth) and follow the coast road (SS14), which is quite panoramic and passes close to the railway station.
